Ok, I started this thread because I'd like to see if there is a significant amount of others who would like to see the gold and bonus books given to all characters who complete these missions.

I can find NO other missions or quests where once one of you characters complete it, the rest can only get the xp and not the gold/items that ar part of the reward. It's not like we're all going to get filthy rich by completing these bonus missions with all of our toons.

I, for one, will use the gold to upgrade the customized weapons for my heros to use, and the gold will only partly cover that cost.

So, what do you think? signed, unsigned?

p.s. To the moderator, if you could add a poll to this link, I would appreciate it. It might make it easier for people wko don't want to post but have an opinion. Thanks.

I'm not sure I'm with you on this one.

If you're after a specific weapon for another character but you've already completed it once on another you still get a book at the end don't you? Just re-do it when you want one.

If they added the gold rewards as a repeatable reward people would be farming the crap out of them, especially with Togo and Ossa's 'push to win' skills...

I don't think I explained this well enough, so excuse the length of this post while I try to clarify.

I have 8 toons.

Jada Alia Fyre completed all four missions with 3 discoveries for each earning 500g + 1 book for mish, 2500g + 1 book for each discovery, for a grand total of 8k + 4 books per mission, or 32k + 16 books completed. Jada can now repeat them for the 500g + 1 book. I have no problem with that.

Now Slytheran N Fyre comes in and completes mish for 500g + 1 book, but cannot earn the 2500g + 1 book for the discoveries.

I'm only asking that each toon should be able to earn the discoveries once like Jada did, not that I can repeat these completely at 8k per mish.

To cap, I think each toon should be able to fully complete the 4 missions + 12 discoveries once, then repeat main mish for 500g and a book if you so desire.

2. Run the missions.

3. Turn in the rewards.

4. Dump said rewards into storage.

5. Delete said character.

6. Goto step 1.

Get it now?

Yeah, if they have no way of making sure that couldn't be done to take advantage of it, then I can see why they wouldn't change it.

That scenario never occurred to me because I wouldn't delete any of my toons. If there's any way to do it where it wouldn't be exploited I'd still like the change, but if it would create too much work to put security measures in place then I don't blame them for not trying.

The only way to limit it would be to either make a character physically unable to transfer the gold or items they gained from this quest, which would be impossible, or to lock the character so they can't be deleted, which would cause many more problems than it would solve.

The only thing that might work would be to give each account a number of "BMP tokens" equal to the number of character slots you have, and allow the quests to be done for their full reward that many times. The problem w/ this is how would you handle buying new character slots, and would you allow the same character to repeat the quest?

Well, the items are already non-transferrable (book and item that you trade book for customized to toon who completed), but for the rest of it, it's probably too much of a logistical nightmare to do.

Guess I'll just have to repeat main mish per char as many times as I need items for heros, and fund upgrades with farming.
